The Project
This luxury infinity edge pool in Halfmoon Bay is a stunning showcase of waterscape artistry, thoughtfully designed to harmonize with its extraordinary oceanfront setting. The panoramic views across the bay are front and center, with the disappearing edge of the pool visually merging into the horizon for an immersive, resort-style experience.
The centerpiece is a custom hot tub, expertly positioned within the footprint of the pool and adjacent to the generous baja shelf—creating a seamless transition from lounge to hydrotherapy and maximizing both relaxation and social interaction.
The pool’s rich grey plaster provides depth and warmth, reflecting both the natural landscape and the dynamic sky, while 2×2 Castlerock tile bands and step edge accents lend a sophisticated architectural detail that contrasts the surrounding neutral deck.
A slate grey Hydramatic automatic cover blends discreetly with the poolscape, ensuring safety and effortless year-round protection without compromising the pool’s clean, modern lines.
Baja shelf color LED lights offer adjustable ambiance, shifting from tranquil daytime blues to glowing, dramatic hues after sunset—transforming the pool and patio into a captivating oasis for both daytime lounging and evening entertaining.
The design’s interplay between water, stone, and open space echoes the serene coastal context, offering an effortless transition from interior living areas to the poolside retreat, crafted to celebrate the unique setting of Halfmoon Bay.
