Signature Sapphire Pool
Alka Pool
The Project
Perched high above the shoreline in Belcarra, BC, this signature Sapphire pool traces the curve of the coastline with a sweeping, curved infinity edge that appears to spill directly into the inlet below. The glass-walled residence and covered outdoor living area extend right to the water’s edge, creating a seamless flow between indoor comforts and the dramatic West Coast setting.
The all glass-tile interior shimmers in shifting shades of blue, giving the water remarkable clarity and depth while catching every change in coastal light. Along the vanishing edge, water slips silently over the radius wall, extending the horizon and framing uninterrupted views of forest, ocean, and sky. At night, integrated colour lights transform the water into a luminous ribbon, washing the infinity edge and adjacent spa with a soft, ambient glow that reflects off the glass tile like jewelry.
Behind the scenes, a turbo clean circulation system keeps the surface pristine by sweeping debris toward hidden inlets, reducing maintenance and keeping the focus on the view. For those who want more than a leisurely float, built-in Badu swim jets introduce a powerful adjustable current, turning the main pool into a private open-water training lane against the dramatic Belcarra backdrop. Together, these features create a refined coastal retreat where engineering, performance, and West Coast scenery are held in perfect balance.
